Jonathan Turley is the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University and also a contributor to the USA Today newspaper. His article today is titled "D.C.'s speed bump: the Constitution."
Surely you've heard that our Democrat-dominated congress is working on legislation to give voting representation to the District of Columbia. Never mind that the framers of the Constitution explicitly restricted representation to "the several states," your Democrat legislators are bound and determined to ignore Constitutional strictures now that they have absolute power in congress and the White House. Check out Turley's article to see what this law professor thinks of their blatant disregard for the Constitution. It is amazing to me that people elected to public office would conspire to do violence to the constitutional principles they were sworn to uphold.
